Project Overview

RentSpree, a pivotal player in the residential real estate market, sought to revamp its digital platform to better serve real estate agents, owners, and brokers. The primary objectives were to create a more user-friendly experience, increase conversion rates, and modernize the visual design to resonate with the industry's dynamic nature.

Challenges

The RentSpree website faced notable challenges:

  1. Information Architecture: The structure of the website made it difficult for users to find and process information efficiently.
  2. User Engagement: The site struggled to engage its target audience effectively, reflected in less-than-ideal interaction metrics.

Role and Responsibilities

As a UX/UI Designer, I collaborated in the redesign of the pre-login website. My responsibilities included:

  1. Design: Implementing the new RentSpree visual identity that reflects the modernity and professionalism of the real estate industry.
  2. User Experience: Ensuring the website offers a seamless, intuitive user journey from the first point of contact.

Design Process and Strategy

The redesign followed a structured, user-centered approach:

  1. Empathy: Engaging with key stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
  2. Define: Setting clear, actionable goals based on the insights gained.
  3. Ideate: Brainstorming innovative design solutions that align with the defined objectives.
  4. Prototype: Developing wireframes and prototypes to visualize the new design direction.

Key Features and Functionalities

The redesign introduced several key enhancements, using Figma and Webflow as the primary design and development tools:

  1. Revised Information Architecture: Restructured content and navigation to streamline the user journey.
  2. Modern Visual Design: Updated the color scheme, typography, and branding elements to reflect a modern, professional look.
